We offer several options to help our patients cope with fear and anxiety.

Nitrous Oxide

Commonly referred to as "laughing gas" nitrous oxide is administered onsite during treatment. It has a calming effect which helps nervous patients relax, yet it does not produce harmful side effects. Patients are cleared on oxygen before leaving so that they can drive themselves home without risk.

Oral medication

If necessary, Dr. Dunbar can prescribe oral medication to be taken prior to treatment. This is only done for patients of record who have been seen and evaluated prior to treatment. If oral medication is taken, the patient must be escorted by someone to and from the office.
